Array ( [sid] => 114 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => #170 [time] => 2002-07-11 13:22:06 [hometext] => I'm mainly salavgeing the poems about my love from the old site, this was my 170th submission there [bodytext] => Locked in the corridors of my heart
There is an angel there
Warming the strings, stirring the fire
The sparkle of my brown eyes
That extra spring in my step, as I run around in daily life
Carrying her within my heart of gold
I shield her with my words and my arms wide open
My Engel Der Nacht, my queen
The ray of hope that shines from the deepest regions of my soul
The healing touch she has, for the most wounded of all souls
Hours upon hours, she spent bandaging old wounds
Some as old as I, some from days recently gone by
A revolt of unheard of poportions
She inspired in me, after 18 years of pain
Ending, a depression, causing me to drop my weapons
Driving away demons, that have haunted me for years
THe worst, created by me, x7 is defeated
My love burns for her in my chest,
and my soul every night
Goes to her and stands guard in my sleep
Born into her world, only recently
This angel is mine to keep
Amy Marie Hess, I love you forever and always

Jase,
This is such a beautiful tribute to your love. I do not know of anyone who would not be honored to have something like this written for them.
As always I wish you love and great happiness.
Great write my friend,
Sharon;)
