of a baby that never made it's way
the blood in the picture created a sea of red
a sea of babies floating dead
at eighteen weeks his heart had a beat
and at only eleven he had hands and feet
his fingerprints were real but his identinty unknown
now he lies in a pool of blood and bone
there is so much pain in these words that i say
cause i just lost my unborn child today
we didnt choose to end its life
and it didnt die under the knife
we have the freedom to choose that is true

I can only imagine losing something/someone that was so part of you that you really wanted. I know of people who have been through this pain, even losing a child at 3 days old. Dreadful thing to go through and will be there for the rest of your life. So sorry for your loss. Excellent write though. Take care.
