the intellect all hang at the bars and the clubs
all on mind altering drugs
societys based on the rich and the strong
not the ones who are fighting all the wrongs
children die hungry there mothers a whore
selling her body just for a score
the dead husk of an man lying in a ditch
died from frostbite he pastout from his fix
this is my world not covered with glee
just filled with hate thats all that i see
but one love to all just doesnt seem to do
i need atleast some help from all of you to
i struggle and i fall try to help the few
being raised on the streets its the least i could do
now as i walk with this surreal sense of view
out in the cold looking for you

Sad write man. What chaotic metropolitan area do you live in? Just curious. I hate cities. I was born in St. Louis, moved as a small child. I have friends that live up in Chicago...I get so bummed going there to stay. Too many people. Too many noises. Too many disgusting odors. My husband and I keep telling our buds to come to the farm and live...got lots of room. LOL I guess if your born and raised in the city, it's the only life you know. Peace, Laura

City sucks........the area of life is out doors with peace and quite, and the stars.......... YES the sky. Go sit and look and feel. I do live somewhat OUT of the city, yet I would rather be where i grew up at my Papas.......Now that . was.......AWE~
Great write Regan.......go find, peace, its there.

Sad to think these things still go on, and most turn their backs on others because of their conditions. Yes, its pretty simple to just turn out the lights, look the other way, pretend it does not happen. For those who have had to live like this, know what it is all about, and for those who have never lived that life, could try walk in their shoes, lend a helping loving hand.. its real for sure, you would think in large cities that would not ocurr, yet it does, in many cities around the world. Love takes time to help others, feel from the heart, the eyes can be useless at times, for they like pretty things, I say pretty is in the heart.. raquelLeah
