but you were a friend but then again what gave you the right
you took a life drunk and irate you told the courts that you were straight
if they ask me i wont lie the innocence you took was not her fate

now alone and scared prision you must face
your family wont see you your just a disgrace
lost in your life you thought you owned all right
anger when you walked you always picked a fight

now in despair you want your loved one who care
but the way you acted now do we dare
you cried in the phone "brother be by my side"
but why do you tell everyone what happened was a lie

i am sorry friend in hell you will wait
its up to god to decide your fate
he will decide if your life with it
lets things be calm he knows where you sit [comments] => 3 [counter] => 488 [topic] => 6 [informant] => lostrelic [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 22 [ratings] => 8 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

Yes, and this is very sad, and who knows why we get separated, perhaps this person will come forth and clean up, help others. I grieve for you loss. Yes, let the Lord do His job. This is another lesson for us all. Thank you very much for writing this poem, and my prayers go out for you, your family and friends. Huggs raquelLeah :D

Oh one little moment can change the rest of your life, such as his decision to drive drunk and ruin not only his life but the one he killed family and friends. We all see this happen, such as life dies. Tragic and heartfelt anger. Good write although sad that is from such experience. Take care.

This saddens me. I pray that he will accept what he has done and turn his life around.
Your right, we can hide all the truth we like but GOd see's and knows all. In one second life as we know it can change when someone chooses to drink and drive. I lost a two best friends due to a drunk driver, sad indeed.
Blessings to you
Michelle
