Have we met before
Have we discussed our names
And exchanged hands for a shake
Doing you a favor just to see you again

I could swear
I’ve seen you in a past lifetime
In a dream played in slow motion then rewind
I recognize your eyes, how they tell no secret lies

I cant place my finger on it
But you remind me of someone honest
Of someone driven to perpetual progress
Your aspirations are bold, yet gently modest

Do I look familiar
Can you place this frown
Is my voice too loud
Its hard to hear with the numbness
And surrounded yourself with boisterous crowds

I’ve got you pegged
I can read you standing on one, toe
Or two legs
Look at me like I have three heads
A third nipple
Gives me milk when I eat bread
Interesting facts
You are dumbstruck you cant respond

Now do you remember!
Have I sparked a recollection
I met you last November in a bar on second
We did it in the car, on second
Wait one-second
What a blessing
I’m reminiscing

I like it! It's very misleading, but yet shockingly simple. It's so true! Keep writing!
