I know of his feelings not be mine
But cannot help but sigh with heavy heart at his face
My heart! My heart! Love sickest me with thy poison talons
Tears alone beweep my outcast state
Mine! Mine! I cry holding my hand out to him
But he just looks at my palm with hesitant eyes
Back! Away! he shouts with realization
Friend can you be! But love I feel not for you! He cries out, pushing me away
A scratch in my heart, that bleeds until the marrow of mine death
Ripping, punturing, searing pain in my soul
To never heal until thou love me back
Silent! O' shriving tears screaming at my eyes
Burning, acidic waves of hating love
I cannot stop the distress of unrequetted lovers pain
And "to thine heart be true" tear me in half with it's horrid stench of malice
As if it was to say that love one-sided it has never felt!
Horror in its own words as pain and blood it deny!
A dark place in thy world so sweet
Be gone! Banish my heart to the shelf where love it can no longer reach!
And take my pain away to the depths of the ocean and burry it in the pits of Davy Jones' Locker!
Be at ease my illcontent soul. Be at ease
For in time lies the power to heal all wounds....
Bullis lies! That truth is not in me!
for eight summers I lay and wait for the pain to erase
And still it sears my soul with it's poison talons of love!
O' black rose! O' Burning ice! O' dark sun!
These opposites bleed with belittled love that lies true
True love! True pain! All in the same!
A horrid pleasure! A splendid tomb! A wonderous demise!
Love, what is the downfall of all great men and women alike!
A great weakness and a great strength! What joy can come from such a sickening death?
A pleasureful drug! O' what a beautiful demon! Love! Love! Love!
May it rot in Satan's purse! Unused and unwelcomed!
I shall wait in misery for my time to come
And for the love of one who doust not love me back
To take my life and end my suffering!
How is it that so many can love the horrid splender that is true love?
That all is perfect in the world of sweet, sweet life?
They drink in the pleasures, the wonders of the rewards that it brings
And I, so full of malice and loathing for this love,
Shall lay in gloom and miscontent until love give me its rewards [comments] => 3 [counter] => 483 [topic] => 48 [informant] => DesolantDreamer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
