And all of the sorrow yet to dissipate within me,
A stifled creativity longing for release,
And a fading sense of belief in the notion of peace.

For falling short of society's expectations,
And the lack of having interesting conversations.
For all the fear and fight that has become our-selves,
And all the dust collecting upon bookless shelves.

So far in between the lines of reason,
I am lost to ambivalence in this strangest of seasons. For all the songs that we did not sing,
And for all the hope that tomorrow could not bring,
The setting suns that put red into my eyes,
For the ego that you never could compromise.

strong and beautiful. your stanza's were substantial, i loved the entire piece. the flow was never broken all the words fit immaculately in their places. a true artist wrote this one. i enjoyed the progression and the concept, i cannot stress enough how this whole piece fit together so perfectly.

I adore those ending lines, not just because ambivalence is my favorite word. God that word is so perfect, ambivalent. torn.
