Three cuts. Four.
After that cut,
There's no more.

One week. Two weeks.
Three weeks, straight.
No cuts, since!
Now this is great!

Three cuts. Four cuts.
Five cuts.Six.
Across your skin,
That fresh blade slips.

Pressing harder.
Deeper down.
Bloodflow trickles.
You fall to the ground.

You cut to silence pain
And then,
You never wake
To hurt again. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 631 [topic] => 72 [informant] => xXx_lil_pyro_xXx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => self-harmpoetry )

well, that describes perfectly how I felt when I used to cut... I have not cut for over a year now and it's something I'm very proud of myself for... this poem really shows how someone feels when they cut... "You cut to silence pain"

kind of sad that people cut themselves

but the only reason they do is cause of

pain and they are trying to reach out for help.

I have never done that and i am sorry you went threw this i hope you are not doing it anymore ,,, anyways nice poem^_^
