Hoping her true love to meet
Her heart so wanted to be adored
So much pent up love she stored

Across town he did sit in the park
Wondering of Love in the dark
Where was the woman for him only?
He was oh so very, very lonely

Toward her apartment she did go
Her head in sorrow held so low
Where was the man for her?
She never knew the answer for sure

He started walking home slowly
He was feeling oh so lowly
Could anyone really be his wife?
This was causing him much strife

Around the corner he did walk
He got quite surprising shock
For into her body he did bang
One look into her eyes his heart sang

This moment seemed to forever last
She felt as if she had no past
All she wanted was to stay right here
How into his heart could she endear

He asked her out for coffee and maybe a bite
She could not say no she said all right
Two years later they were happily wed
A match made in Heaven everyone said

Fifty years later they tell how they met
To all who gathered and said the best was yet
They could not have asked for the meeting by chance
But for all these years now their hearts have danced
