Array ( [sid] => 113526 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A life worth living [time] => 2006-01-20 21:46:33 [hometext] => This poem is dedicated to a little girl named nixzmary brown who was murdered by her stepfather after being beaten and tortured endlessly for the past year. She died last wednesday. This is dedicated to you little Nixzmary. [bodytext] => Her life began with misery and sorrow
One mistake brought her to life
Abandoned to an eternal prison
A helpless child full of pain
Stripped forever of her innocence
She was lured into a false illusion
As she became the target of all his rage
A Mischevous child or so he said
An excuse he made to cover his tracks
The endless torture that awaited her
sleepless nights in her silent chamber
Her screams echoed down the hall
Until one night
Bound and gagged to a wooden chair
Beaten to death and then pulled by her hair
Her life sealed with a porcelin fate
And now the angel lies in heaven
at an age of only seven
Now she'll finally get her peace
Death has granted her one wish
To end the life she felt was not worth living

I have goosebumps...chills....after reading this piece. I have two beautiful children and the thought of someone hurting them....well, I see red. Bless the little girl for she truely is in a better place. But why the suffering to get there? I don't understand....maybe it will benefit her in the next life. I hope the man who did this is behind bars with life and no chance of parole. Hard hitting subject, well written. Peace to you, Laura

Oh, not what one would like to read, yet;;;ITS so true. Kids are so helpless. They try to do right, and yet in a bad sitution, they only do wrong.! I am so sorry for the loss, and wished all kids, could be placed where there was no harm. They dont derserve what happens, sometimes.and another generation that it happens to is, is granparent types;........they are also helpless, and need comfort. Heart filled post......thats a definete

Very sad write. You've told the story well.
It's so hard to imagene someone doing this to their baby. At 7 I'd still consider them a baby of sorts.
good writing.
huggs,
emy
