A voice so soft and sweet,
Whispers for your help,
But it’s filled with deceit.
The help you try to bring,
Is used to kill your soul,
There is no hope for her,
She can never feel whole.
But still you try and try,
A challenge you must accept,
You must heal her scars,
And be there as she wept.
This girl needs so much,
But refuses to help herself,
She only takes from others,
Like a greedy little elf.
She makes herself insane,
And will do the same to you,
So I warn you stay away,
There isn’t much you can do.
It’s not that this girl is evil,
Or that she wants to cause you pain,
She only wants to help you,
But unfortunately she’s insane.
So this is my warning to you,
She is nothing but a head game,
I know her very well,
Because we share the same name.

I really like this poem. It really conveys the wanting of friends but not wanting to hurt them. Keep writing.

Eternally Punished,
Faust

Nice write-
Sounds a bit like someone from my past-
I wanted to heal her wounds from the past and help her find a new future-
I gave and gave...She took and took-
Forgive me...I am rambling-
It wasn't a total loss for me-
I discovered the true meaning of love-
Joe
