[title] => The Children, it Will Hurt.
[time] => 2003-01-26 17:20:00
[hometext] => Lately, as a member of amnesty international and a student in intro to ethnic studies, I've been hearing a lot about how innocent Iraqis will be the ones killed, and how the embargo is a plight to their existence as it is. This is one of two poems I wrote last night when I just couldn't get the situation off of my mind.
[bodytext] => The children are the light,
the children are the hope, pure sweet innocence, as they play and grow. The children have no voice, for it is not their place, completely in the hands of adults to shape. When big men go to war, or desecrate the earth, it is felt by children, the children, it will hurt.
