[hometext] => This is an old poem I wrote in August. It's painful, but powerful.
[bodytext] => Always strong. Never weak. Never feel pain. Never weep. Standing there at the edge, she can't be anything she was before. Now all burdens lay on her. Now all things are hers to keep. They treat her like a wall; she'll never break. Not until the day she walks straight off over the edgewill they figure they made a mistake. They told her she couldn't pull the trigger, but when she did, they realized how much she hurt. They knew she kept it all until it was too much to bear. She was unmoved when they laughed. She said nothing when they talked behind her back. They never bothered to see how far away she had gone. So when she lay dead, none knew what was going on. At night she was alone; broken to the bone. She was always strong. She was never weak. She never felt pain. She never weeped. So when her body dropped over the edge, she was silent to the end.
