Array ( [sid] => 113226 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Old House [time] => 2006-01-15 17:04:47 [hometext] => Another piece written about the Farm house I grew up in and just recently purchased. The house is waking up with life. [bodytext] => You've seen so much
since your foundation
was first laid.
Family.....living, loving.
Births and deaths.
(SHE died here)
Several wars.
The depression too.
Many a troubled decision
discussed and solved
within the walls of you.

Many changes through
your windows' view,
landscape,
transportation.
People have changed too.
If you could speak.
I often wonder what you'd say.
I'd love to talk with you
about the so called
good ole' days.

Nineteen nineteen, your ground
was broke.
Still so solid and proud you stand.
I'm a grown woman now
with family of my own
Back at last,my old friend
Love within your walls
Does it feel good to have
life...
once again?
