I seemed to have reached
the crossroads. Wondering now...
Which way does one go?
Moisten a digit, see which way
the wind blows.

No way looks any easier,
than the others.
Crazy twisting bends.
Hills which seem to
never end.
Hollers' dark, deep and green.
Things which moan and scream,
remain hidden
remain unscene.

Others have been here,
at this very same spot.
Standing in trepidation.
We are an indecisive lot.

Footprints lead every which way.
So no real help to me....is
provided. Standing alone.
Facing a journey
unguided.

Ah, the task ahead, seems
so long and frightful
But, one must make a choice.
I call out
with trembling voice.
I am all alone,
it would seem.
Standing at the crossroads,
trying to fulfill
this dream...
within a dream.

This was a truly wonderful poem. Your thoughts were expressed through it so well and it really seems like someting so many people face and you put it so brilliantly into a metaphor. I cant chose which stanza or even which lines I like best but I really and really and really liked this poem. Great write!

Very good, captures that moment of indecision perfectly, a moment I'm sure we've all faced...!

Awesome, 2sdyx
