let me breath
choking from my sympathy
torn apart
by all the things you say

and we walk
a narrow path of destiny
and we break free
from apathy

it's deafening when you scream
and your words run through me
it's deafening when you scream
and your words run through me

and my whole world
falls apart when you are not around
and i try so hard to see you now

let me go
choosing everything we see
i hate this place
but i don't want to leave

we keep trying

Honestly, this is a good poem. But, it has a twisted sort of ring to it. I am almost unsure of the message you were trying to get across. Unless your message was, "BE CONFUSED" or "I am confused." I don't really kno, but besides the confusion, nicely written?

this is the way the world ends
this is the way the world ends
this is the way the world ends
not with a bang but a whimper.
