yet give none to yourself
then turn around and blame me
for your living hell

i cant stand by and watch this
how you go through it all
you know that i would be here
to catch you when you fall

picking up the pieces
all day and all night
and knowing when i wake up
that well have another fight

you always think i hate you
you get up in my face
later on i know that
youll be wanting embrace

you say your sorry so many times
and yet i know its not true
cuz when i leave and come back next time
youll be doing the same thing times two

i dont want to see you in a hospital again
i dont want it to be like before
but every time that you got up then
you fell right back on the floor

so im asking you please just stop this habbit
before it tears our family apart
ive never told you this before
but this is also tearing my heart [comments] => 2 [counter] => 424 [topic] => 75 [informant] => gah_veh [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 7 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )

This is such a very very sad poem. It really gets to me because it's somehting that you are hurting for you mom for while for me, while my mother is similarly like this, I push her away. I'm so happy that you can be so loving but it's hard, I know, for you to lay down and accept the pain that she deals to you while you watch the pain that she causes you and you family. Stay strong and continue expressing your words in powerful writes like this.

XOXO Jane Doe

ps. I think someone has gone through and given everyone a rating of 1 on their poems because everyone seems to have it, isn't that horrid? But your's is worth far more than that, just so you know.

i love the "picking up the pieces all day and all night and knowing when i wake up that well have another fight" part its very symbolic ... Great write but im so sorry that u havta go thru that with ur mom...me and mine are so close so i cudent reely immagine the pain ur going thru...I shall pray that u and yours get some closure and eveything works out well, beautiful write tho, ur emotions are so strong. thanks for sharing!!

Blessed Be
