dear and gentle soul.
I sing for you a lullaby,
a more meaningful sacrifice.
My desperate brutality for love,
haunting my every step.
Intense emotions-too much i would say,
leading me to my final thought.
A thought of you,
my happiness, my everything.
Yet i wish to save you,
from a life with me you may regret.
I try to be your angel,
but at times i feel i hold you back,
that i'm bringing you down with me.
The reason for glass breaking,
Inevitability.
The more i do,
the more i think.
The more i think,
the more i convince myself
of none other than my fatal ending...
Death, simply another phase of life.
But death isn't always a lifeless body,
or soul returned home.
Instead living a life without you here,
to take away my happy ending.
The light of my life is you,
my one and only true...
something i wish you knew.
As i look toward the light,
i've suddenly changed my mind,
I turn around and scream for you,
Though i know you cannot hear me...
i do...
forever and always,
i love you...

I really enjoyed this.
I can completely relate with this whole thing.
The part where you said "Yet i wish to save you,
from a life with me you may regret.
I try to be your angel,
but at times i feel i hold you back
"
That really touched me.
Great write.
