Who knows what to believe.
A different story everyday
Which one will you receive?

So will you stop the chain
And take your business elsewhere?
Or will you carry the story on
And get caught up in the affair?

Lies that ruin ones reputation,
Believed by all who hear
Without knowing all the facts,
But listening with a sneer.

And now look what’s been done
As you see her sitting all alone,
Knowing you could have been the one,
To kill this growing weed.

lol, I'm kind of ashamed to say that I thought "a different kind of weed" referred to marijuana, but I'm glad I read the poem and figured out what it was really about! lol, but anyways, the poem you wrote here was really good, and the feelings of guilt you expressed to the readers was pretty well done with your ending. Nice work

When I first read the title, I though you ment drugs. Sorry about that. I really like your poem, I understand what you are talking about.

Here is a secret most women of the old world knew (ask Susun Weed in Saugerties/Woodstock N.Y.) that you dont have to kill the weed it might be medicine. Most use poison on that dandelion when every part of the plant offers nourishment. it is true Humility may be bitter at first but important to the liver of the situation. If others operate and apply hearsay so help them; they may easily fall, skull crushed, beneath the heels of the virgin. For innocence is pure and brighter than any contrivance.
So the one who did nothing is like a hepatitis 'c' make sure you wash everyhting they have touched in hot water and bleach. Unless of course it was the author which this piece neatly convolutes in questions. In that case be not a child of supressed guilt. Perhaps let the passion and skill of the admission set things to truth..

LOL Hope this relates!

Peace
Yang
