A Life Less Ordinary
So you sit there in the corner, With your head between your knees. Yelling at this crazy world, Saying nothing’s ever what it seems. You lose your faith in everything, You lost your faith in me, And now the lights are fading fast, You cling to nothing but your past Thinking… Why can’t life be different? Why can’t life be grand? Nothing ever changes, My life is in your hands. You walk home to your momma, At the end of every day. The voices that disturb you, But you don’t know what to say. It seems as though the world it falling, Your clinging for your life. You clench your teeth and bite your lip, Something’s just not right. And you think… Why can’t life be different? Why can’t life be grand? Nothing ever changes. My life is in your hands.
