Echoes entwine with mortal fame...
And in this smoke we see the shape of skull
like faces...
Following human ways.

Rip tear,
A dawning knowledge as you are lying there...
No one is coming to ease the smell of burning flesh...
Because no one cares.

On the mountain they stand like heroes.
On the field they fight like animals.
In bed at night they dream like children...
And moan and weep into their pillows.

Slash STAB,
A River of blood, kept on a haunting tab.
The world spins, and the children fall victim to
the nightmares...
And reach for a nonexistent hand to grab.

Boom Wham,
Everyone around you raises up to join the damned.
You drink their blood and breath in their souls,
Knowing later, you will forget as best as you can.

Everywhere, a display of heated violence.
As the gods make thunder reap the land
And all your left with is that Booming Silence
As the smoke subsides, and still you stand.
