So I said ok
He said he really loved me
And forever he would stay.
But now the baby's coming
And the promises are on the floor,
He closed off his heart
And built this great big wall.
He says he doesn't want me
& this is not his kid
But how is it anyone elses
He's the only one I've been with.
Our baby needs a Daddy too
but he doesn't care,
I even brought holden gear
For him and bubby to wear.
I never asked him for a thing
Except his love in return
But he nocks me down and beats me round
And leaves my heart to yearn.
He keeps these secrets locked away
& leaves me in the dark,
with nothing here to comfort me
Then two dogs & hearing them bark.

I want us to be happy
the way we used to be,
So when I look in his eyes
Love is all I see,
The man who loves his family
And couldn't ask for more
I just want to be happy
And stop crying behind closed doors. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 155 [topic] => 22 [informant] => becca_au85 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

Life's hard...there are lies, and as much as they can break us down, is as much as they can make us stronger next time around. Things will work out, maybe not for the best, but everything happens for a reason. stay positive :) im hear if u need someone
