Array ( [sid] => 112712 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Voice [time] => 2006-01-07 03:59:34 [hometext] => I wrote this after getting into an argument with someone and they just wouldn't acknowledge what I was saying, even if it was the same point they were trying to argue [bodytext] => Why should I cry?
When the whole world
Should be wondering why
Just like me

Why should I yell?
When a smaller mind
Argues that they're right
Just because of the way they tell
Their point of view

Why should I get sad?
When no one understands
And puts me down, calls me stupid
Just because they think what I am saying is bad
They just don't know

So I will fly over their hills
And I will stay over their minds
I will continue to feel just the way I do
Because thats the happiness that I find

No one can take that away from me
No matter how loud they yell
The only way I listen to them
Is if they listen to me as well

So find yourself an opinion
Find yourself a choice
But unless your willing to learn from others
No one is going to hear your voice [comments] => 3 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 73 [informant] => Ari [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => abstract )

I really enjoyed this poem! Your thoughts and outlook are exactly like mine. If people would just understand what you wrote, then the word communication wouldnt just be a word. Look forward to reading more from you.
