When you're just their to please yourselves
It's thanks to you that the nation has corrupt
And the world is sinking straight to hell

Behind the lies, the empty promises and the mistakes
You have the power to build and maintain perfection
Blinded by the lies, the empty promises and the mistakes
You have built and maintained absolute scantness

Many have fallen who have just been forgotten
And life has been weighed as if it's nothing at all
It's like you just don't care about who you control
As if what you own is what you wish to destroy

Am I just another useless kid waiting to be forgotten?
Am I even a somebody in the place that I call home?
By my own free will, I'd always be there if called upon
In a matter of life and death, would you be by my side?
I think the whole world knows the answer
I can't say as I'm surprised

Is it just the greed and the power that drives you?
So contractive, you're falling apart like nothing before
Are we just the centre of tests and examinations?
Those that you have so passively failed?

But in the end, all we want
Is a place to feel safe, a place to feel loved
Instead, we've set our homes in just another wasteland
And the fault lies within the blood of anyone but our own

It brings me down
It creates so much hatred
It destroys the calm that ceases to progress...
This forced lifestyle is sick.
It's all your fault. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 6 [informant] => KasPeR88 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

its like that here in Canada as well as the the United States(which is no surprise because our Prime Minister seems to be infatuated with Dubya!) this was very nicely expressed and lets hope that one day, these losers will be ousted and a better government for all of us will be set up!
