Can we love?
Can we look at all we've done?

Can we shout?
Can we scream?
Can we find peace through dreams?

Can we speak?
Can we lie?
Can we fall and cease to try?

Can we fight?
Can we run?
Can we find elation under the sun?

If I could sleep forever
I'd live life through my dreams
I'd constantly try to change the world
Instigated through desperate screams

If I could show my thoughts
The world would change its ways
We'd never need to feel alone
We'd never need to pray

If I could feel what I wish to feel
I'd always feel alright
I'd make sure that you felt the same
And dream sweet dreams throughout the night

If I could end the world I would
I'd wash away the evil that it holds
I'd burn up every single living organism
Before it has the chance to grow cold

Can we freeze?
(If I could display my thoughts)
Can we burn?
(I'd show you what I feel)
Can we spin?
(Don't you see I only need a chance)
Can we turn?
(I'd let you feel something so much more than real) [comments] => 2 [counter] => 188 [topic] => 21 [informant] => KasPeR88 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )
