Array ( [sid] => 112604 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Morte I [time] => 2006-01-05 09:40:50 [hometext] => This song was written by two people... Eric Montagino and Michael Lopresti of the band Morte De AmorIt is a 9 part series and is very dark... [bodytext] => She falls down to earth
From the celestial stars up above
Through clouds mist of grey
Like a wounded young dove
Her beauty it dies
And immortality then fades
She’s then left all alone
Stuck in a haze
She starts to stand up
To take steps on her way
As sunrise arrives
And lights up her day
It is her right there
That they start to discover
And worship her
As if a holy martyr
They then realize
They’re unknown to the other
She’s sees a mountain ledge
And starts to walk farther
She looks all about
And then looks to the sky
Lacing her fingers
She lets out a cry
"You dropped me from home
Where the stars I could reach
Dear father oh why
Was is it I that you've beseeched
You’ve condemned me right here
All alone by myself
What is this place?
That feels like its hell?"
As the sun sets
The sky turns to night
Dead trees come alive
As air and wind collides
Her body grows weak
So she lies under the trees
She then closes her eye
Now may she rest in peace?
Her soul exits her body
And then starts to rise
Followers go with her
And soar to the sky
And so they succumb
To what they think is paradise
Fake judgment brought truth
To unveil all the lies
The life unto which
They were gave to begin
The torture for all eternity
To those who hath sinned
Never to escape
Satan’s wicked grasp
Obeying their master
Where his voice it would rasp
"Obey me damned ones
For I am thy god and thy lord
I will grant thee thy life
And thou shalt obey what thou art told"
She’s brought back and then tells
"I’ll never die
My soul belongs to the devil"
And then she replies
"I live for you" [comments] => 0 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 13 [informant] => fixated [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
