Leaving the past behind without a trace
Sparks of new life begin to form
She has weathered again one more storm

Troubles drop from her like autumn leafs
As they take leave from the trees
No more left to wonder why
She looks up and sees a clear blue sky

Renewed with each new day
She can face what comes her way
The past is better left behind
The future an adventure to find

The present is where she prefers to live
She has so much love to share and give
For those open to receive
She will in her self believe

So she walks life’s pathway
Stopping to help those gone astray
Smiling and laughing as she goes
For in her true self she knows

Oh My how I love this one. "Stopping to help those gone astray" wonderful for whomever, I've remained so happy all these years by helping others also......didn't seem quite right to do just for myself. And now you've found the secret to happiness.
"Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves!"
Loved this poem Shari............
Warm love
