put them in your shallow pockets
& lets pretend just for the morning
that glory is as obtainable as death
so rise and shine, open up your eyes
the daybreak is upon us
lets watch the sunrise
lets pray for something glorious
come without your weapons
for destruction wont help to teach any lessons
and i ask you to sit with me
and wait until the light is clear
and glory we see.

i notice the fearful look in your face

cramming so many thoughts, in your precious head

but darling i promise, the light will revive inside whats dead

but i'll pretend to be oblivious
so i promise my self not to tell you this.
and just enjoy the slow pace
and pray for something glorious.
the singings getting louder
the suns emerging from the darkness
and the songs are getting prouder

your eyes so wide, struggle to take in all of this site

something so glorious.
two roads diverge before us
and we each take different ones
let me know how life works out
let me know if you find out
what all the glory is about

its all i want for you to see the sunrise

to put away your trickey,

and to let the light, open up your eyes

& just for a second to forget to fight

for your even more beautiful in the sunlight..........

I liked it. Your word usage was good, too.

This was a genuine pleasure to read. It kind of reminds me of a recent bittersweet relationship of mine. Thankyou for putting it so well.
