[hometext] => This poem starts out odd, but it kind of insipires you to look to better things. This is dedicated to Mitchell, because I spent New Year's Eve with him and in those few hours I realized this was my chance to start fresh. And now I know I'll never be alone

Here's to a new year: We promise to always wake up in the morning no matter how many pills we took before. Here's to a new year: We promise to get drunk when no one's looking. Here's to a new year: We promise to start out the day on a different side of the house.  Here's to you, my love: I start the new year in your arms. Here's to you, my love: I'm yours always.
