Tick Tock
And the year slips by ever so fast
Where do those seconds and minutes go?
To another world where seconds and minutes live?
Or to time heaven where they come and go on this earth as they please?

Each minute made up of pure gold seconds
A pure gold hour leading to the shining diamond of our life
Time comes and time goes bringing joy or pain
Like the soft ebb and flow of waves on golden sand
Each wave crashing, never to return again

The lark sings forevermore upon its branch
Its song sings of beauty while the sun shines its life giving rays
A phone rings.
An alarm goes off.

yeah ... where does it go? it is agonizingly slow when being waited on, and incredulously swift when paid no mind. it makes no sence. you caught it well here. nice read.
