But her secrets are safe cause she compulsively lies She's afraid of the dark and of being alone She's afraid she will never be just flesh and bone. Drugs have been her way of escaping What is she doing to her mind? She is so tripped out most of the time She slashes her wrists to forget the pain But it always seems to bring on more shame She thinks about suicide and death a lot But suicide is wrong...or so she was taught She will keep going with her heart on her sleeve and will try to improve the life she will lead How do I know what she has come to be?
