enough of the way u

enough of your lust
enough of your stuff.
enough of the way u try to buy me
i no longer want to deal with you.
enough of your complain
enough of your greed
enough of the way you smoke weed.
i just had enough of your speed taking
enough of your drinking
enough of your cursing
enough of you hurting my heart.
i just had enough.
i no longer want to hear your excuse,
i was the one being abuse.
and i just had enough.

...there was a tremendous show of spirit here...you are a strong person...but when the front door is made of steel and locked up tight and the walls are cinder block, a guys knuckles can get pretty bloody and still have nothing to show for it...

...I am fifty-four years old...just within the last year I've discovered some Truths that have helped me to understand myself a whole lot better...I'll try to keep it brief...first off, nobody's getting in the front door...the concept of Love will sustain you, but it will likely infuriate them...

...a child's infancy is the most influential period of a human's existence...think of life, getting older, as a pyrimid...the most significant portion is the base...you can see the pointed pinnacle from a distance and it gets all the attention and praise, but it is the base upon which the pinnacle depends...the first three years of a human's life are known as the Attachment Years...the perceptions that will determine how they navigate in their adult world are determined during these years...

...if an infant experiences safety and security...if an infant's needs are met and if the infant is made to feel significant and valuable, the child will learn to percieve the world as safe, they will be able to develop trust and confidence in those around them and in themselves. This child will continue to develop at a healthy rate, becoming a well adjusted adult in time...

...many unavoidable situations influence how caregivers are able to respond to their children...economic demands, personal emotional stresses, social influences...when these overwhelm a parent, the parent is unable to respond in a wholesome, consistent manner...there simply isn't enough emotional energy or time to satisfy what life is demanding from them...caregivers come to the end of their rope and are frustrated and angry...this causes an infant to view their world as unsafe and their ability to deal with their world as ineffectual...when there is no time or money and the child is hungry and sitting in soiled diapers, the child's needs go unmet...when this becomes a pattern, the child begins to view himself as insignificant, not valuable, worthless...

...an adult's ability to cope with the obstacles life throws in their path is determined pretty much by the age of three and more heavily the first year and a half...the Attachment Years...this is where the actions of teenagers, young adults, middle aged adults and us old fogies all have their roots...

...look up Early Childhood Development or Attachment Theory of Early Childhood Development on the internet...

...Love 'em...you can't beat the door down, so just Love em...but, if possible, seek the knowledge that will make it possible for you to Love and understand them...regardless of their physical age, when they are exhibiting behaviors like you have mentioned in the poem, they are teenagers or young adults stuck somewhere along the path of their childhood development…they likely will need professional help in untangling the experiences of their childhood…I did…with God's help, we got things figured out…they can, too...

...I'll be praying for all of you...you have goodness and love written all over you...don't give up...when you come to the end of your rope...let go, laugh, and Love 'em...God will catch you...

...I think...just kidding...

...God bless you this Christmas season...

nice poem and i can relate i was a problem child myself .... but you know that no matter how strongly you feel about something or someway that feelings and your self appearance will over power that ... it may be awhile but sometimes it good to let others find out the hard way it might make them a better person in the long run ! im not saying everything will change but they will relize the things that are worth it to them ..... sometimes you just gotta get there mind thinking about stuff besides whats fun or RIGHT NOW .... there is a future for everyone
