Papers crinkle and dust flies
Rooftops are sorrowed upon
The rain just can't let go

Reach for the sun
It scorches my hopeful hands
Tears
Rain
It just doesn't know when to stop

The moon allows my shadow to move
But limits it to the light
The darkness keeps her at bay
Or does it?
Is my shadow free when I turn out the light
Or is she caged within herself?

Tears
Rain
It won't know how to stop unless I show it

The pavement cracks beneath our guilt
Pound on it even harder and you might
See yourself six feet beneath
Anguish tears from your throat
Mouth
Eyes

It's overpowering and overflowing
You can't get out of this
Too deep into the problem to get out
Push forward but the darkness sees prey

Tears
Rain
Sunshine
Moon
Your done.

The emotion is rolling off of this poem. Very dark and very sad. The pain and hurt fill the reader with tears of their own. I hope sunshine fills you soon. There is always hope, even when you cannot see it or even believe it is there. My prayers are with you, friend.

This is heavy , i hope that by writing it you have identified the pain and can move on

Love the line 'the pavement cracks beneath our guilt'

There is hope, believe that you can change

MY dalring Alice, love it, as always. Although it does sound like you were on drugs when you wrote this...not like that's a bad thing!
