It is a layered write, and dealing with various aspects of different stuff. And yeah...it's also in a bit of a state of disarray...lol [bodytext] => Let me pimp out my heart, to solicit a sale
charged with prostitution, force a grant of bail
He tried to book without reason, for trespassing and treason
We'll discuss the birds and bees and, the weather, or the season

Grant a promise to appear, for the one who's forsaken
a contusion rendered coma, will his dreams to awaken
Embark on a fairytale, a sleepy story to regale
of a train, destined to derail, the carnage sheds a bloody trail

The conductor walks away shaken, from the grisly scene
an eerie silence blankets the air, that's far from pristine
Flash forward several years, make note of the now dried tears
karma's destiny reappears, making sure guilt adheres

An angel with two first names continues on her lonely trek
bloody and limping, nevertheless; survives the train wreck
An opportunity missed, another one crossed off the list
reached out to be kissed, instead was categorically dismissed

And in conclusion, your honor, regarding my tale of woe
I'll point you to the resting place, where my heart lay six feet below
Now sir; kindly if you will, hand me that arsenic pill
once swallowed, my body grows still; joins my heart upon the hill [comments] => 15 [counter] => 788 [topic] => 64 [informant] => hauntedscorp [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 80 [ratings] => 28 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ambiguous )

Amazing write... and quite the tale of woe. It's been
a while since i've read your work, and it's only getting
better. I love the last two lines, but along with all the
rest!

Take Care!!

Sue *applauds* loudly for Scorp. You can always deliver a smashing sensational write.
Although its sadness brings a silence to the air, this is brilliantly penned. I bow to ur excellence dearest Scorp. May ur beautiful heart find the love that it seeks and may it this time around last for a lifetime. You deserve the best girl.
love n hugs from ur fan/friend,
~sue from across the blue~

This poem is sooooo powerful it breaks my heart, my Scorperiffic friend.

Yes, yes, you write brilliantly. Your style and use of words are so unique. Yes, talent so rare.

As for poetry, you never disappoint, yet please, I must plead your case. You can't leave such a beautiful heart and lovely person buried where the love you seek will never find you!!!!

Time for Plan N...as in Nooooooooo

Your honor, I object, my Scorperiffic friend acts in haste
I plead with you, as her defender, rethink this case
Trash that arsenic pill and dig up the heart upon the hill
It’s pitted and abused, show mercy for the plaintiff, if you will
Show her there’s always one who will care
Make her knight in shining armor aware
He’s out there and this I know,
For her fair heart his love will bestow
Show her by cleaning the dirt from her heart
Although the knight comes from worlds apart
Her tattered heart shall rise and glow again
Please help to convince my Scorperiffic friend
The pitiful scallywags that did never deserve
We can show if her heart she’ll preserve,
That by rescuing her heart, by cleansing the dirt
Show all the jerks that dare to be a lowly flirt
The knight yet to come for her heart he’ll shout
For her love he will be devoted & stout
For now our friendship will keep her heart so safe
So please your honor, I plead this case

Submitted as court evidence, Plan N.

Prostitution, train wrecks and dead hearts... Angels with 2 names. Now that's a recipe there. The last lines of the 3rd stanza got me, really stuck out to me. Seems so sad, I feel sad... sad and guilty, but I don't know of what. Just won't be riding any trains.

Scorp, who continues to write masterfully. Among the layers, there appears to be a journey of trials and tribulations. There appears to be a lot of pain and suffering. The heart is quite resilient if one doesn't give up.
I hope this write does not depict your personal state of mind, Scorp.

Well written, my friend

Will
