remember when...

Contributed by eloise on Saturday, 25th January 2003 @ 03:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

remember when...
we first met and you smiled
where did that smile go?

remember when...
we first met and you laughed
where did that laugh go?

remember when...
we first met and you said hello
why didnt you say goodbye?

remember when...
we first hugged and you tickled me
why did you stop?

remember when...
we first shared our pain and cried
when did it change?

remember when...
we first laughed together and you told me everything would be ok
when was it not?

remember when...
i found out you were gone
why did you die?
and what was so bad you couldnt live anymore?

A beautiful and moving poem Eloise. I am so sorry for your loss...I know how painful it is as I lost me closest friend this way nearly two years ago.
