I felt so alone
My tears came down in tides
I couldn’t help but scream and moan

He seems to hate me so much
His words are so mean
I can bare his touch
Sometimes I cant handle being seen

What have I done to earn this
I know that I’ve done a lot of wrong
Those days of love and happiness I miss
But I can no longer be this strong

I just want him to stop and see
To listen to my thoughts and dreams
To realize what he’s done to me
His painful words do more to me then what they seem

My words are not about a guy
If they were, believe me, I wouldn’t be so hurt and mad
But since they came from who they did,
They’d make anyone want to die
This poem is about my dad
And how he looks through my eyes

I like it.
Its very truthful, and sometimes after hard nights poetry is the only way to escape. Good job.

I feel for you and your relationship with your father. I have 2 daughters who I have tried hard not to scar. Let this strengthen you.

Sometimes the only thing you can turn to is your pen (or keyboard)

Great write, I feel for ya, and I hope I will never make my future daughters (or anyone for that matter) feel the way you must feel.

Give yourself a giant hug

Ari
