Muscles have become frozen in place
I feel like a disgrace
Help me please can you give me a hand
Assist me in my search for the promised land

Stories told through time, there is hidden meaning
Secrets become some kind of fiction
Filtering process has been all but tainted
Knowledge sought after but never attained

Created from a source still unclear
Life we embrace, but death we fear?
Why is this the case, due to what we hear?
For we can’t explain how we got here
So how can we know we’re supposed to fear?

The ending of an episode, its storyline unclear
Follow it you will engrossed in its splender
Discuss it with another you wonder if it was the same you saw
As if Chinese whispers were ignored, deep memory is stored

Will I remain as I am, should I have questions such as these
Am I apart from everyone else in my thoughts
Or is it common place this feeling of loss
Harnessed together perhaps we’ll have course
Not whilst we’re fighting killing with no cause

Every person we take diminishes our fate
The cycle we are part of should not be ignored
For the trees feed from the air and the air feeds from the sun
We fit in somewhere but our position is gone
We’re falling so, so far behind
Encased in our minds not knowing the soul
Still continue we will so painfully slow.
