[bodytext] => I thought it was some dark mirror it was just a picture frame to be filled with the people who never called me daughter every night this whisper spears my heart every darkened day a small click of a step across tiled floor brings me face to face with what I’ve learned to hate- a lie, filling a gilded frame to the brim could it be that I have been so alone all along? a woman I believed in more than blue just being blue more than fact alone an accident? accidents are small things- cuts and scrapes, bruises or locking the keys in the car not a whole child not a whole sixteen years I prayed for the picture but I came to the mirror can you see it like some dark sin settled deep beneath my skin?
