I do not feel anything anymore
Once more
This pill isnt for sure if....

I'll wake up tomorrow
Or scare away my pain
The pill sits in the pit of my stomache
Ringing my neck
Never letting me forget
The first day we met
And how our relationship is one big prescription of regret.

In my closet
I wait for a reason to make a call back
If I ever get back
Until then i forget the combination to the door and lock it

(Lock it. Hide away. Peek through the key hole. Numb away the day.)

Glazy eyes
Just make your submission
In and out of my life
You were nothing but a drifter .
With your thumb out on the highway
I saw through your tempoary charade
This just has to be the longest day
This will be the last day i'll put up with it .

I scream for remberence
I yell for vengence
My fist in the air
My hand covering my mouth now.
If i was here or not
Man, you wouldnt care
It makes no difference
I'm just wasting air

Is this the end
Or the begining of rest of my life?
This is the longest way
The scenic road to avoid immidate attention
This is the longest day
Of the shortest release and the answer to THE END. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 518 [topic] => 66 [informant] => levymetal [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => drugabuse )

GREAT JOB! You're one of my favorite writers on this site. Keep up the good work. I loved this poem and everything it brought with it....it brought a sense of confusion and anger but no loss...anyways, keep it up!
