To anyone they feel in need, or has a cross to bear
They'll always understand you, and always share a smile
And when your body's weary, they'll help you that last mile

They always seem to sense it, when your day is going bad
Call you just to share a laugh, some silly thought they had
They're so darn understanding, and always show they care
Any time you need a friend, they seem to be right there

They'll give you anything you need, the shirt upon their back
The last buck in their pocket, or anything you lack
They help you up, when you fall down, put you on your feet
Greet you with the warmest hugs, anytime you meet

They treat you just like family, it's simply what they do
And tell you that it's wonderful, to have a friend like you
So special are these people, the ones that I call friend
For when I need a friend, indeed, they're right there to the end

Money doesn't matter, they simply just don't care
They like you for just who you are, and always treat you fair
There's someone I must mention, before this poem I close
I'd like you all to meet her, My dear friend, .....sararose

For you sweetheart. May your light always shine as brightly as it does for me!
