With this little tune playing in my head.
As I ate my breakfast it continued to play,
Ready to plague me for the rest of the day.
On the way to work it only got worse,
The lyrics and the tune became a curse.
The rhythm of the train seemed to join in,
I couldn't fight it, and then I had to sing!.
Other passengers exchanged strange looks,
Hiding their faces in newspapers and books.
Colleagues at work were exactly the same,
I was so relieved when five oclock came.
Then on the way home the tune remained,
By this time my sanity it had claimed.
That night as I got back into my bed,
That dreaded tune played in my head.
I closed my eyes tight and turned of the light,
And hoped and prayed for a peaceful night.
But as I nearly dozed off I wanted to scream,
For it was already playing in my dream!

My life is a song in my head, maybe I'm just in my head...maybe my head doesn't exist. Your poem is cool, hence why i commented and now i'm just wasting time...and i concurr with the gurl with voices in her head, I too suffer from these...
