She's a spirit in the wind
Ever blowing wild and free
Feel her breath upon your skin
Look, but you will never see
In the Willows hear her voice
Whispers tempting mortal man
Laughing as she runs away
"Catch me, catch me if you can"

I have crossed the savage oceans
Braved the mountain's icy face
Searched the forests and the meadows
Praying for the slightest trace
Lover of a thousand lifetimes
Grant this moment I beseech
Still the air and calmly stay
Once, just once within my reach...

In the Willows hear her voice
Whispers tempting mortal man
Laughing as she runs away
"Catch me, catch me if you can"
Feel her breath upon your skin
Look, but you will never see
She's a spirit in the wind
Ever blowing wild and free

Now you feel her presence a haunting in your soul a need a longing to reach out and grasp her> Heart pulsating hand grabbing her hair kisses so intense phew where did that come from it just seems to be flowing from my finger tips.

Magnificent as always

A wonderful write. I got caught up in it.....the quest for a passionate all consuming tender love where you maintain that initial falling in love phase intensity. Ah, but alas it's not to be.

Very whimsical and romantic
Well done my friend.

Will
