Many are tears of my heart
that shall never reach the eyes,

safety valves of the heart are tears
too much put upon, they sear,

sobs accompany shedding of tears
a bit of wet falls to my glass,

saline salty o'er the years
Yet for thee I've wept more tears,

somehow it 'tis soul's cleansing
this violent rush of feelings,

world turns brighter after this rain
for my tears are ever healing.

Many are tears of my heart
that shall never reach the eyes,
