but just enough to make my imagination work on overdrive
from across the room I look into her green eyes
and I can almost read her mind and I know what she's thinking
"does he really love me? does he mean the things that he says?
will he stay with me forever?"
so I make my way across the room to reassure her
that I am for real and my love will last forever
and before we are even close enough to touch
my eyes are closed and I can smell her even the raspberry candles
I can smell her and the smell is to my nose as the sweetest candy to my tougue
and with eyes still closed I reach out and touch her and her skin is soft
it's as if she were made of silk and with my hands I explore her body
her every curve and crevace from her head to her toes and every place inbetween
and now I can see her in a brand new way and she is more beautiful than ever
then I open my eyes and caress her face with my hands thinking that this is intimacy
this is what love is all about this is why even when we loose we continue to play the game
because the reward is greater than the sacrafice we all win in the end and I love her and I know
she loves me too and I can feel her every thought and joy and every pain and this is
