Where my cells were born and my monkey shined
I crawled on all fours for a very long time
Until arriving on Wall Street in a Calvin Klein suit
Talk the talk and walk the walk I ain’t no monkey no mo’
Now I can drive a big fancy car
Livin’ the life of a faux movie star
Who would believe I was nothing but sleeze
Primordial slime in the beginning of time
What comes around goes around
Been there and done that
Planets align, will we run out of time
Like dinosaurs we’ll disappear
Our legacy of trash and treasure
Once upon a time we were here and now we’re gone

I like the dark humour behind this one, it made me laugh!

"Where my cells were born and my monkey shined" - I love it.

I have to say I luv that line too... Where my cells were born and my monkey shined

and ...Talk the talk and walk the walk I ain’t no monkey no mo’
is really so cute, for a sincere lack of a better word.

What you start to touch on, the legacy of trash, running out of time.... is sooo so .... well, it's just the tip of something huge I see within you, like the first view of a grey claw in your throat, the first time the cheezy horror movie audience knows for sure, that there is something alive inside you, and holy mother it's got the tools to dig out.

:)
