Array ( [sid] => 1108 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Savior of Vanish [time] => 2002-07-25 11:28:24 [hometext] => This poem originally had no title, but the one i posted is the title i gave it when i entered it in a contest. The title and the poem it's self i never really thought on, they just came to me. Comments will be much appreciated. This is the first poem i am posting so i hope it is enjoyed.
[bodytext] => Save me now, Hold me forever agianist a moonlit sky
Shut my eyes, Keep me close and force the world to go by
Yet yeild me please to the bending trees who give mercy to all darkness bound
Clasp my ankles, Stab my wrists and force me onto the ground
Powder my nose, Lace me in bows and lead me to forget the past
Sharpen my ears, Strengthen my bones and make me something to last
Warm my skin, slow my heart and allow me a moment
of breath
For none the world matters now, Tis' in you i find my death [comments] => 12 [counter] => 311 [topic] => 25 [informant] => xFalling_of_Starsx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 40 [ratings] => 8 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

indeed, good write. contrast with strength and weakness. it seems also to hint of lost romance, or maybe that's just the flirting with death.. nice one.
