Living in its idiosyncrasy
Believing in the powers of a force divine
The first words that it speaks “this world is mine!”

Evolution one way street, mankind peruses his dreams, but failed to keep humbleness to a growing vanity
But the time has come for us to realize that the animal that we deeply despise is far more civilized than humanity
And soon we will curse the day we climbed down from the trees
Once we see our mother earth fall down on its knees

Science is the new religion now, but microchip miracles only feeds our avarice
With a hunger for immortality while our planet still dies
It dies for the want for more people who care
About the poison we pump in the sea and the air

So if you think the world is an oyster, you’ll surely choke on the pearl
With all the scenes of distorted nature, your mind with power still whirl
Nothing natural left in the water that we drink, neither the air that we breathe
But how can we ever see reason when we can’t see the woods nor the trees

In your Armani armor you are practically shining, and you think you'll always be right
All those nature worries never interests you, now tell me are you really that bright?
You say, “Why waste concern on these rivers and trees?”
“They belong to mankind to exploit as he please”

Now we hold the future in the palm of our hand
Try to build your tomorrow, not just castles of sand
The hourglass is empty time is slipping away
Prepare your excuses for the judgment day

Human’s nature is to spoil the nature
But can we stand another venture?
Mankind after all don’t act that kind
We are all in this but some just never mind
