Breathe

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Friday, 2nd December 2005 @ 12:41:05 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Fighting with many demons
a cancer
which eats at my vulnerable mind

Countless others
have passed my way

You were the only one
kind enough to...

Stay

The atrocities of the dual mood
can be so damaging so..

Rude

Changing personalities
in the blink of an eye

Complex to you
Intriguing too

Confusing me
Never to be free

Look alive now
See what I can breathe

in

Laura Horner

Your broken sentences are something I have learned to love in reading your work. It makes you stop and feel the emphasis on certain things. I applaud you.

Ouch to whomever gave me the one. I do not like the rating system for this reason: If someone thinks a piece of writing is so crappy it deserves a one rating, why not voice your opinion...if not here in the comments then PM someone. Give the one if you don't like it, but please offer some constructive criticism. Sorry to those who felt it deserved a one. To me it is a piece of me.. an extension of just who I am. Hopefully whomever this was has found some pieces of poetry on this wonderful sight, worthy of some fives. There are many excellent bards here. Peace to all, Laura
