As many nights I’ve seen;
Yet something ‘bout the way She glows
Mines from my heart a dream.
My eyes reflect
Unto the sky
A brilliant desire,
A burning need that traps me in
The rage of savage fire.

Tonight your eyes are dancing wild
Upon my blazing skin;
A chant of love and passion calls
The quakes from deep within.
Our lust is like
The fireplace
That lights the room with flame:
Chasing away the winter cold
As I call out your name.

My cries and gasps have no restraints;
Nothing can hold them down.
Your lips make my skin burst in flames,
My head is spinning ‘round.
Your breath against
My own flushed cheek
Fills my chest with the sea.
Now one more move will make me burst,
And set the waters free.

I clutch your hair, your face, your arms,
And in this precious time,
My breathing stops for only you,
The hours passing by.
My eyes can’t see...
My body’s tense...
I feel a forceful rise...
I give my last cry to this night,
And drown within your eyes.

These sheets of silk so cool to touch
Have soothed our breath fatigued.
The stars all sigh a wistful breeze,
Seeming the more intrigued.
To see a pair
Like you and I
Reflects serenity;
Our loving hearts still beat as one...
Love is what love will be. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 202 [topic] => 2 [informant] => ruby_dreamer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 11 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
