Group of kids in a cemetary
Having their own little funeral
Silently praying it isn't true
Everyone scared to death
She was everyone's best friend
She fit in everywhere
Her brother smiled
When he thought about her
She was so young
But so old for her age
She was so pretty
Like a goddess
Now he's praying
'God help her
She's an angel
Let her come home'
While her best friend thinks
'Please don't let this be true
She was awesome
Everyone loved her
She had the perfect life'
But neither of them knew
Of her problems
She had them
But they were on the inside
She never let anyone see
The scars on her soul
The bruises on her heart
She never let anyone know
That she was hurting
Everyone went to the other funeral
Classmates and teachers too
Everyone was grieving
But two of them
The one's she trusted the most
Felt only guilt and fear
What would happen to them?
It was their faults they knew
They put the idea into her head
It killed her
They just left her
And her brother knew
It was on his face
He wished it could have been him instead of her
His parents were breaking down
They shed so many tears
But he couldn't
He was past tears
He was numb
He felt like someone had torn his soul in half
Something died with his twin sister
He had seen her cry for no reason
He knew now
That he would never be the same
And all because
No one saw her pain. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 223 [topic] => 13 [informant] => flamingblade [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

A very emotional write. How sad for all. The feeling was there and the words chosen to express them were perfect. Thank you for sharing.
